India, March 25 -- With just four points separating George Russell and Kimi Antonelli at the top of the 2026 Formula 1 Drivers' Championship, Mercedes' dominant start has created a sense of intra-team battle already. Both drivers are chasing their maiden world title, and the big question remains, who will Toto Wolff favour if things get intense? However, the answer is already given by the Mercedes boss. 

Russell currently leads the drivers standings with 51 points, marking the first time in his career he has topped the championship. The Briton won the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, took victory in the sprint race in China, and finished second in the Chinese Grand Prix.
