India, June 29 -- Buck up fans of Every Year After! The romantic drama is officially coming back as Prime Video has officially renewed Every Year After for Season 2. The renewal was announced on Saturday with the upcoming season set to expand the story beyond the first book.

While Season 1 focused on Percy and Sam's love story, Season 2 will expand the world of Barry's Bay by adapting Carley Fortune's novel One Golden Summer. Amy B. Harris is returning as showrunner while Fortune will continue as an executive producer alongside Lindsey Liberatore, Amy Rardin, John Stephens and Grace Gilroy.
