India, June 21 -- President Trump's unilateral resignation from the role of the world's policeman may ultimately arrive at precisely the moment Europe needs to rediscover its own strategic autonomy.
"We are in a new age of empires and this time we are the colonies," said Italian opposition leader Carlo Calenda, commenting on the geopolitical times we live in.
