India, May 2 -- The EO-3 satellite mission underscores Pakistan's commitment to building indigenous space technology, with applications ranging from disaster response to security. However, analysts say a viral image linked to the satellite appears to be recycled rather than newly captured.
EO-3 was launched on 25 April 2026 from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in China aboard a Long March 6 rocket, completing Pakistan's three-satellite PRSC-EO Earth observation constellation, with two predecessors already delivering operational data.
