India, Aug. 18 -- The Pakistan cricket team suffered a major blow ahead of their Test series opener against England, as Babar Azam was ruled out of the fixture due to an injury. With the regular captain unavailable, Salman Ali Agha will lead the side in the first Test, starting on August 19 at the Headingley Cricket Ground, Leeds. Pakistan coach Sarfaraz Ahmed confirmed that Babar would not be playing the match as he was unable to recover from a right-hand injury sustained in Pakistan's warm-up game in Beckenham. Notably, the Pakistan skipper had a knock on the same hand during the Test series against the West Indies.
