India, Aug. 20 -- England bowlers Ollie Robinson and Josh Tongue found a rather unusual way to settle a cricket tradition after both claimed five-wicket hauls against Pakistan in the opening Test at Headingley. With both pacers deserving the match ball as a keepsake, they decided not to choose between them and instead had the ball cut neatly in half.
The shared souvenir came after Robinson and Tongue combined to dismantle Pakistan on the opening day of the Leeds Test. It was the first time since 2006 that two England bowlers had taken five wickets in the same innings, making the unique split of the match ball an appropriate memento of a memorable day for the pair.
