India, Sept. 7 -- The 2026 Emmy Awards have delivered an unexpected twist for Spider-Noir. Just days after Prime Video and MGM+ cancelled the Nicolas Cage-led series after one season, the show walked away with five Emmy Awards during Night Two of the 78th Emmy Awards.

The series had been one of Prime Video's biggest contenders at this year's Emmys as it collected 11 nominations. Despite knowing that it would not return for another season, Spider-Noir still managed to turn its awards campaign into a major success.
