India, May 27 -- A 28-year-old woman from Uganda has been isolated and shifted to a state-run hospital in Bengaluru after developing Ebola-like symptoms. The woman, who arrived in the city from an Ebola-affected region for a vacation, was shifted from her hotel to the Epidemic Diseases Hospital after reporting a mild body ache. According to state health officials, her condition is stable and she is being continuously monitored. Her blood samples have been sent to the National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Pune for testing, and the state health department is currently awaiting the reports.
