India, Sept. 30 -- American equities were higher on Wednesday after gaining confidence from August inflation numbers lower than expected and indications that the American economy is still growing. The DJIA stood at 51,443.02, which is an increase of 93.10 points or 0.18%. Nasdaq increased by 1.05% to 27,078.00 while S&P 500 added 0.66% to reach 7,721.64. In this trading session, there have been a number of conflicting factors such as inflation, interest rates expectations, oil prices, Treasuries and the strength of artificial intelligence trend.
