India, July 7 -- The US-Turkey relationship may have entered a new era following an announcement made by US President Donald Trump regarding lifting of sanctions imposed on Turkey in 2020. He indicated that the US government is ready to sell F-35 stealth fighter jets to Turkey while such a development would dramatically change how military assistance is provided by both countries, who are fellow NATO members.
