India, Sept. 13 -- For years, the Queens house linked to Donald Trump's earliest memories looked far removed from the image of luxury real estate associated with the US president. Now, the Tudor-style property has undergone a striking transformation and has changed hands again, selling for $1.93 million after an extensive renovation.

The house in Jamaica Estates, Queens, where Trump lived with his family until he was four, was built by his father, real estate developer Fred Trump, in 1940. The property had spent years moving between owners before falling into serious disrepair. Developer Tommy Lin bought it for $835,000 and spent about $500,000 and eight months rebuilding its interior.
