India, June 25 -- Earlier this month, US President Donald Trump's name was removed from the Kennedy Center. Now, a federal judge has asked for an explanation from the Trump administration about the giant tarp outside the centre.

Federal Judge's Latest Order

This morning, district judge Christopher Cooper asked the Donald Trump administration to provide an update on "the purpose and status of the tarp and scaffolding" placed on Kennedy Center's facade. The deadline to give answers on the same is 31st July, 2026.

Trump's name was removed from the Center earlier this month, after Judge Cooper ruled that it was placed there unlawfully. Judge Cooper also stated that the memorial will only bear the name of late president John F Kennedy.
