India, Sept. 30 -- The U.S. President Donald Trump and top tech executives have reached a deal on an informal pact with the goal of enhancing security protocols for advanced artificial intelligence technologies, making AI safety and fast-growing data centers front and center again in Washington's discussions. The deal was reached after a White House meeting on September 29, 2026, with executives from OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Google and Nvidia.
