India, Sept. 11 -- Discord users across the world were hit by a wave of voice connectivity problems in the early hours of Friday, with thousands reporting they were unable to join voice channels and calls, instead becoming stuck on a message reading "Waiting for Voice Server."

The outage, which began around midnight Eastern Time, quickly became one of the top trending search terms in the US as frustrated users sought answers.
