India, May 27 -- Delhi is currently experiencing a brutal heatwave. However, relief could come soon, as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain and hailstorm warning for Delhi, UP, Punjab and multiple other states.
Rain & Cooler Temperatures
In its most recent forecast, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) warned of thunderstorms, rain and hailstorms for multiple states in North India, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Punjab from 28th May, 2026. The broadcaster also stated that ensuing rain could lead to a decrease in temperatures.
