India, May 28 -- The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Delhi and Noida, while Gurugram and Faridabad are still under a red alert as they brace for severe thunderstorms, heavy rain, lightning and strong winds over the next few hours. The IMD has said that there could be gusty winds of 60 to 80 kmph to hit with isolated hailstorms and thundersqualls over several parts of Delhi-NCR on Wednesday evening and has advised people to use caution as dust storms will also come in signature before the onset of rain.
