India, June 13 -- Delhi-NCR residents continued to enjoy relief from the intense summer heat on Saturday as cooler temperatures, cloud cover, and intermittent rain transformed weather conditions across the region. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said the recent rain and high winds has helped to bring down temperatures, breaking the heatwave scenario in the national capital in the past few weeks. The hottest temperature experienced has fallen by almost 7 degrees from previous readings, thus relieving millions.
