India, June 10 -- A powerful storm with rain swept across Delhi-NCR around midnight on Tuesday, giving some needed relief to people reeling under days of scorching heat and oppressive humidity. Strong winds were reported along with lightning and rainfall from several pockets of the national capital plus nearby regions, and the temperatures drop pretty quick. This sudden shift in weather showed up right after a day that was basically extreme, where temperatures went past 43degC in lots of places.
