India, May 23 -- IndiGo on Saturday issued a fresh travel advisory for passengers flying to and from Delhi as thunderstorms and heavy rainfall are expected to affect flight operations in the national capital. The airline advised travellers to check their flight status before heading to the airport and leave early due to possible traffic congestion caused by rain.

The advisory came as weather conditions in Delhi turned unstable, raising concerns over delays in both flight departures and arrivals at Indira Gandhi International Airport.
