India, Aug. 24 -- Monsoon conditions strengthened across Delhi and neighbouring parts of the National Capital Region on Monday, bringing intense showers to Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad. The downpour provided relief from heat and humidity but also disrupted road and air travel across the region. The adverse weather affected operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport, while waterlogging and traffic congestion were reported at several major roads.
