India, Aug. 11 -- Delhi has been placed on high alert ahead of Independence Day, with police intensifying security and surveillance across the national capital. As part of the security measures, posters featuring photographs and identification details of 19 wanted terrorists have been displayed at prominent public locations.

The suspects are linked to groups including the Indian Mujahideen, Al-Qaeda and various Khalistani organisations. Police said the initiative is intended to increase public awareness and encourage citizens to provide information that could help authorities trace the wanted individuals.
