India, Aug. 24 -- Heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms disrupted air traffic in the national capital on Monday, with 15 flights diverted from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.Jaipur handled the majority of the diverted services, receiving 12 flights. Two others were sent to Chandigarh, while one was diverted to Lucknow. Three of the flights redirected to Jaipur were international services.

The weather also caused widespread waterlogging and traffic congestion across several parts of Delhi, creating difficulties for commuters and airport-bound passengers.
