India, April 16 --  A routine ground movement at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport turned into an aviation incident on Thursday when a taxiing SpiceJet aircraft made contact with a stationary Akasa Air plane.

Officials confirmed that both aircraft suffered visible damage, but passengers and crew remained safe. Airport teams quickly secured the area and began safety checks to prevent further disruption.

The incident reportedly took place around 2:15 pm near Terminal 1, when the SpiceJet aircraft was taxiing after arrival, and the Akasa Air aircraft was preparing for departure.
