India, Aug. 8 -- Lokesh Kanagaraj's much awaited acting debut DC has opened its theatrical run with a modest start at the Indian box office. The Tamil film sees the filmmaker step in front of the camera for the first time as the lead with Wamiqa Gabbi playing the female lead. The film has generated attention for bringing together Kanagaraj's debut as an actor, Wamiqa's presence and Arun Matheswaran's direction in an intense action drama.
