India, Aug. 25 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to conduct the CTET September 2026 examination on September 6, 2026 (Sunday). As of August 25, 2026, there is no official notification confirming that the CTET September 2026 exam has been postponed. The official CTET website continues to list the September 2026 information bulletin and related updates.

According to the official notification, CBSE may also examine on September 5, 2026, if the number of candidates increases significantly. The examination date allotted to candidates in such a situation will be decided by CBSE.
