India, April 11 -- Sanju Samson finally got his bat going for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2026, smashing his first fifty in yellow off just 26 balls on April 11 against Delhi Capitals at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. After three below-par and disappointing knocks to start the season, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter finally found his rhythm when CSK needed it the most, winless on three games. In the 9th over of the innings, facing Mukesh Kumar, Samson brought up his half-century with a flick to fine leg for a single. His partner Ayush Mhatre walked up to congratulate him.
