India, Sept. 27 -- A Bengaluru court rejected the bail plea of suspended IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar, accused in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) Veterinary Officer recruitment scam. Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge Nirmala Devi S on Friday observed that the prosecution has placed prima facie material showing a money trail and contact between Gangwar (Accused No. 5) and Basavaraj Kannale (Accused No. 6). The court said the investigation is still pending and there is a risk of destruction of evidence and influencing witnesses.
