Congress requires total overhaul
India, June 7 -- The smooth transition of power in Karnataka, which was facilitated by the political maturity displayed by both the former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the present head of government D.K. Shivakumar, does not necessarily mean that everything is well within the grand old party.
Shivakumar is now engaged in placating some of his ministers who are unhappy with the allocation of portfolios to them and it is possible that some more changes may take place in the state, since the Congress has to get into the preparatory mode for the 2028 Assembly polls.
