India, July 17 -- The wait is almost over! With only six days to go, the sports world is turning its attention to Scotland for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026. The action kicks off on Thursday, July 23, and runs until Sunday, August 2, 2026. This edition is special because it is a slimmed-down, focused festival of sport. After the Australian state of Victoria unexpectedly pulled out as host due to costs, Glasgow stepped in at the last minute to save the event.
