India, July 28 -- India produced its strongest performance of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 on Day 5, collecting six medals across athletics and weightlifting to take its overall tally into double digits. The day featured India's second gold medal of the Games, along with three silver and two bronze medals, helping the contingent strengthen its position in the overall standings.
