India, July 22 -- Mauritius heads into the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with a 40-member athlete contingent, marking the nation's 17th appearance at the event. Led by the Mauritius Olympic Committee, the team will compete across five sports, focusing on disciplines where the country has traditionally enjoyed success. Boxer Fabrice Valerie has been named the flag bearer for the opening ceremony, while swimmer Anishta Teeluck served as Mauritius' official baton bearer. Para-athlete Noemi Alphonse and judoka Winsley Gangaya will captain the delegation throughout the Games.
