India, Oct. 4 -- The Indianapolis Colts overcame an early deficit to thump the shorthanded Washington Commanders 30-13 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Workhorse running back Jonathan Taylor found the end zone twice on the ground as Indianapolis dominated the second half.

Washington took an early 6-0 lead before backup quarterback Marcus Mariota exited with a knee injury, forcing rookie Athan Kaliakmanis under centre.

The victory pulls the Colts back to 2-2 on the season, while the battered Commanders slump to 1-3.
