India, Oct. 12 -- Citroen is preparing to bring one of its most recognisable nameplates into the electric vehicle era. The Citroen 2CV electric concept is scheduled to debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, offering a preview of an affordable EV that the French automaker aims to bring into production by 2028.

The upcoming model is expected to combine the original 2CV's distinctive proportions with modern lighting, updated technology and an all-electric powertrain. Citroen is targeting a starting price of approximately €15,000, positioning the vehicle in Europe's budget EV segment.
