India, Sept. 8 -- With the 2026 NFL season just around the corner, the New England Patriots have made a major move to secure one of their most important defensive stars. The Patriots have reportedly reached an agreement with All-Pro cornerback Christian Gonzalez on a four-year, $135 million contract extension, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. The blockbuster deal includes $102 million in guaranteed money and makes Gonzalez the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history.
