India, Sept. 30 -- Tennessee is scheduled to execute Christa Gail Pike, 50, by lethal injection on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, for the 1995 murder of 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer. Pike was 18 years old when she committed the crime. If carried out, the execution would be Tennessee's first execution of a woman in more than 200 years.
