India, Aug. 21 -- ChatGPT Apple Messages Plugin Launched: For years, your Apple Messages inbox has remained one of the most personal corners of your digital life. Now, OpenAI is giving ChatGPT a way to work directly with those conversations. The company has introduced an Apple Messages plugin for ChatGPT on Mac, allowing the AI assistant to search, analyse, summarise, draft and send messages through Apple's Messages app.

The new integration, announced on August 20, is aimed at turning ChatGPT into a more capable desktop assistant. Users can ask it to find old conversations, catch up on chats, prepare replies and send messages, while the feature also supports iMessage, SMS and RCS conversations stored in Apple's Messages app.
