India, June 19 -- Bihar is set for a significant boost in rail connectivity after Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced a record railway budget allocation of more than Rs.10,000 crore for the state in the current financial year. The Union Minister was on a visit to Bihar to launch new train services when he announced major upgrades for the Bihar railway. He also shared his ambitious plan to strengthen the state railway network over the coming years.

New Train Services Launched

During an event in Saran, Vaishnaw flagged off the Chapra-Delhi (Anand Vihar) Express and the Mau-Delhi (Anand Vihar) Express. He also inaugurated the extension of the Dohrighat-Aunrihar MEMU service up to Varanasi.
