India, June 1 -- Anthropic's Mythos is a highly advanced artificial intelligence program designed to spot deep software vulnerabilities in computer systems. It is considered a "frontier" AI model because of its power to find flaws in computer systems that conventional security tools might miss. Some reports show that it can also model multi-step cyberattacks, which makes it both powerful and sensitive. Due to these risks, Mythos has not been released publicly.

But now, the European Union's cybersecurity agency ENISA is due to receive the tool and become the first EU body to test Mythos. The European Union officials had been in contact with the company, and even travelled to San Francisco to demand access, Bloomberg reports.
