India, Aug. 7 -- US Representative Byron Donalds and his campaign team have firmly rejected explosive and unverified allegations made by rival gubernatorial candidate James Fishback, who claimed the federal government is investigating the congressman for sex trafficking.

The claim, aired during a press conference in Tallahassee just two weeks before the August 18 Republican primary, was swiftly refuted by Department of Justice officials and campaign representatives, who characterised the assertions as entirely groundless.
