India, Sept. 12 -- President Droupadi Murmu held talks with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday, adding a further layer of high-level diplomacy to Pezeshkian's first visit to India, undertaken to attend the 18th BRICS Summit in the national capital.

Murmu received Pezeshkian at the presidential palace on Saturday, a day after the Iranian leader landed in New Delhi to take part in the two-day BRICS gathering.
