India, May 15 -- The Foreign Minister of the Russian Republic Sergey Lavrov on Friday, May 15 mentioned the role of individual BRICS nations, such as India, to play the role of peacemaker in the ongoing US-Iran conflict.

I don't think BRICS should be the kind of organization to mediate, but individual BRICS members, especially those who are interested in ensuring there are no problems with navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
