India, Sept. 24 -- The Brazil national football team head into their first international assignment since the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Carlo Ancelotti using the Australia double-header to blend established stars with emerging talent. The Selecao will face Australia at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on Friday, September 25, with kick-off at 7 am Brasilia time (20:00 local time).

It is the ninth meeting between the two nations. Ancelotti has confirmed Brazil starting XI, with Matheuzinho and Vitor Reis set to make their senior international debuts.
