India, July 29 -- Indian Railways will introduce a new token system for Tatkal ticket bookings at reservation counters from August 1 to reduce long queues and make the booking process more organised. The new system will apply only to passengers booking tickets offline at Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters, while online Tatkal bookings through IRCTC will continue as usual.
