India, June 2 -- Veteran actor Arjun Sarja continues to draw audiences to theatres with Blast, even as the film entered the usual weekday slowdown phase at the box office. The Tamil action entertainer, which opened to strong occupancy over the weekend, witnessed a noticeable drop in collections on its fifth day but still managed to keep its overall theatrical run stable. According to estimates by Sacnilk, Blast earned approximately Rs 3.60 crore India net on Day 5. The figure marks a nearly 40 per cent decline from the Rs 6 crore the film reportedly collected on Day 4. While the dip may appear sharp, trade experts point out that weekday drops are common for mass-market action films after an opening weekend surge.
