India, April 26 -- The race for the top positions in Delhi's Municipal Corporation has gained momentum, with the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Indian National Congress formally submitting nominations for the posts of mayor and deputy mayor. In contrast, the Aam Aadmi Party has opted to stay out of the contest for the second consecutive year, choosing not to field candidates for either position.
