India, Sept. 25 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a sharp counterattack against Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi after he accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the BJP-led Centre of electoral misconduct, with Union Minister for Coal G. Kishan Reddy accusing the Congress leader of questioning the poll panel whenever electoral outcomes go against his party.

Responding to Gandhi's allegations, Reddy said that the Congress leader's criticism of the Election Commission was selective. "Rahul Gandhi trusts the Election Commission only on the days the Congress wins. On every other day, he calls it a conspiracy," Reddy said.
