India, July 21 -- Rapper Hanumankind, who became a global sensation with Big Dawgs and Run It Up and was also heard on the Dhurandhar soundtrack, joined the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) led Sansad March in New Delhi on Monday.

Videos shared across social media showed the rapper walking alongside students and activists while wearing an Indian cricket jersey and a face mask. As the protest escalated and Delhi Police used tear gas and carried out a lathi charge, Hanumankind took to Instagram to document what he witnessed and openly criticised the use of force against demonstrators.
