India, Aug. 23 -- Many areas in Bengaluru have been informed about the scheduled power cuts on August 23 and August 24, and in certain cases, the power cut will last for seven hours. It has been noticed that the power cuts will be due to maintenance activities that can be either planned or emergency ones, and it depends upon the area as well as the power grid concerned.

From the reports about the BESCOM power grid, the major power cut on August 23 will be due to KPTCL maintenance activity on the R.M.V. substation, and it will affect the areas belonging to the C6 Sub-Division of Malleswaram Division.
