India, Sept. 27 -- In the dusty lanes of Rejinagar, a Murshidabad Assembly segment where Muslims make up more than two-thirds of the electorate, the Bharatiya Janata Party is doing something it rarely gets to do in Bengal's minority belt: hoping arithmetic, not just organisation, will carry it across the line on October 6.
