India, July 22 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly approved a series of significant changes to the playing conditions for the 2026-27 domestic season, aligning its regulations with the latest updates introduced by the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), the custodians of cricket's laws.
According to a PTI report, the revised regulations have already been circulated to state associations ahead of the new domestic season, which is set to begin with the Duleep Trophy next month. The amendments cover several aspects of the game, including stricter sanctions for deliberate no-balls, changes to the conclusion of a day's play, and new restrictions on declarations and forfeitures in red-ball cricket.
